hey there precious face. well, i know for fact that there are so many other greater things in the world. things that involve the miracle of birth and home-runs and label-making and song-writing and clean feelings and cutting cardstock with sharp scissors. all of these things give you great feelings, no? well, today was pretty amazing. when your knees are pretty bust from pounding the sand like a dumb-by. and standing for 2 seconds, even though you're no longer moving. and turning on the boogie-board even when youre not trying. well, it felt really good.
what felt greater was lying on the sand with a shirt on my face, soaking up some rays (not ray. i hate rachael ray), listening to explosions in the sky on my branddd newwww

remember when you'd drop 60+ on a super great no-skip cd player? well, i'll probably never buy an ipod. not that im not one for trends; i love a good trend. not that im cheap; i love a good spend. just that it's so limitless when i think about it (not completely, but relatively limitless in relation to a....cd). well, nothing should be so limitless. limits are good. limits keep you safe, kids. anyway, i guess it's the grandma in me where i say, "hey i love buying cds"... i do. i do. i do. maybe this is how the former generation felt about records. not so much for cassettes, though. not so much for 8-tracks either.
