gahhhhguhhhguhhh, so it's only the 3rd of january 08 and why do things not feel so different?
it's pretty sad that 07 flew by so fast, but not much else can be said. december was pretty much a whirlwind of events and emotions, every day feeling shorter than the day before. idk.
but it's 2008. "AFTER ALL, IT'S 2008, AFTER ALL......"
with that said, im feeling it hard when i think about class coming to a close. im not sure that ive gotten much better than i was before. well, im sure i have but it may not be enough. well, it's not enough. yeah it's not enough. other things come with time and discipline, and only when used in conjunction with one another. time, i can maybe find. discipline, not so eaaasy.
so far my purchasing has been... um, haphazard is not the correct word, but my timing is allll wronggg.
cause i was like, OH HEY, HEY GUYS, IMA BUY SOME CDS OFF AMAZON CAUSE OH HEY, HEY GUYS, WHY NOT? YOU KNOW, WHY NOT GUYS? I HAVENT BOUGHT ONE IN A WHILE. SO LET'S MAKE UP FOR IT AND GET 3.
well it was free shipping, and i can wait, and im not one to be impatient.
oh but i would have reconsidered buying those 3 cds if i knew i was gonna be cracking a guitar this week. yeah, if i knew that i was about to kill sparky, or have sparky die in my hands because of natural causes and old age, then maybe just one cd, or perhaps just NONE would have been bought. like for real, if i thought id be puking out of nervousness at the thought of breaking the news to eric, sparky's owner, i would have been a little more prudent. like HOW MANY MOES in my care and it only decides to break now, in the middle of writing a song........
----lol do you like how i ended that? i ended it making you think that i was going to successfully write one; as if i were making all of this creative progress. as if the guitar breaking was the only thing holding me back from writing something wonderful, amazing, or wonderfully amazing. i WAS practicing, though. maybe i played weezer too hard. impossible! maybe sparky got sad that i only knew 6 chords. suicide? guiticide. im sorry.

oh but on a kind of cool note, here's... us, i guess. aaaaand, some people that ive truly grown to love (yeu thuong) and respect (kinh). if you make me laugh to the point where i cant hold a pencil to write, then mannn, you're amazing.
anyway, theses are just play-time/out-of-class moments with our teacher and some classmates. im putting just these up so that you don't take us seriously. you'll say and think, "OH DRABDRAB, WHAT TIME WASTED!" and scoff and spit a little when you scoff, and then later we'll be all up in your face, all native and legal and legit and TOI BIET'ING ALL THAT TIENG VIET, VA ALL THAT GOOD STUFF, AND YOU'LL BE ALL TRIPPING ON THE OUTSIDE THINKING "TOI KHONG BIET NHUNG CHI BIET NOI TIENG VIET, D.C.T.!" BUT YOU'LL BE THINKING IT IN ENGLISH, AND ILL BE ABLE TO TRANSLATE YOUR THOUGHTS INTO TIENG VIET. AND THAT'S A BIG INYAFACE THING, you get? ILL BE SAYING THESE TIENG VIET IDIOMS AND YOULL BE FEELING LIKE AN ENGLISH IDIOT anyway, that's the plan, so i guess i have to study so i can humiliate some people later.......

for those wondering, the cd i originally was going to purchase on its own was "In Rainbows"-- Radiohead. okay, so scoff and spit, but im so excited that maybe i should not have opted for free shipping, and paid that extra 5 to get it here quick...
OH WHO AM I KIDDING? I HAVE A GUITAR TO PAY FOR.
i also got a mars volta cd. so shoot me. but it's been a while, and ill feel the effects of my purchases later.

hahahahaah i think a true friend will break your guitar, at least once in life, sooner or later, whatever your "guitar" may be, in this case, it was his actual guitar. test of time test of time. And I'm sure both sparky and you have gotten flying colors.
also the viet thing! dude you just ramble vietnamese, you're fluent already!! haha. i mean, way more fluent than anyone else I know, because I don't really know any vietnamese people or haven't heard them speak it.
your class looks so fun! like just a bunch of cool people, having fun and laughing and exerting themselves vigorously to learn a new language to further kingdom interests and do their part! keep it up lady, see you when I see you! Well he had a good run. Although, he didn't spend his last hours sitting in a room with a filipino and one half filipino/japanese guys. He spent his last few days helping someone learn new things. And appreciate the art of writing a song.
