i wish this worked via osmosis, but what the mind absorbs is only equal to the effort your heart is willing to give. it's been realized that the recycle bin in my head is programmed to automatically empty the things proved infrequently used. there are sadly just some things in this world that i can not fake, VN and vain effort included.
Something I'd like to share however, is an idiom we learned, including a nice segue that can be used for the ministry.
"Ngơừi VN thơừng nòi,
'Uống nước...nhớ nguôn,
An trái cây...nhớ kẻ trồng cây'.

Translation:
"Vietnamese People say,

That's beautiful! Such a simple truth it is, He means everything because everyting would be nothing without Him. Love is good.
Oh, my memory is impecable. Just kidding. haha. But that's right man, remember remember remember. It requires more than acknowledgement. It's gotta touch you. Oh the cleverness of the Vietnamese! haha.
Oh yeah I know what you mean, there are some things where I remember every little detail, and there are some bits of information and stuff that stays so alive in my mind and I can recite it. That's true with everyone I think, for the most part. But yeah, the root of everything is love and appreciation for Him, what he's done, is doing, and will do, and what is with Him. Without that, IDK MAN I D K what will it be? I'm so glad that you all are the way you are, you guys give such a wonderful example, more than you know. I say, yes I know them and most do not, it's a gift.
Love and appreciation has gotten you started, and its the kind that will keep you going!
